Anticipated Babies of 2009

We are extremely excited about our anticipated babies this year!!! We should have a nice variety.

  • Wolves - (Canis lupus)
  • Otter - (Lontra canadensis)
  • Grey Fox-(Urocyon cinereoargenteus)
  • Bobcat - (Lynx rufus)
  • Canadian Lynx (Lynx canadensis)
  • Siberian Lynx (Lynx lynx)
  • Coyote - (Canis latrans)
  • Red Fox - (Vulpes vulpes)
  • Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia)
  • New to the Triple D, the Amur Leopard!!! (Panthera pardus orientalis)

Amur Leopards are the rarest subspecies of big cat on earth with only 30 - 35 individuals left in the wild. They are colored just like an African leopard, but they have longer fur more like a snow leopard. They are an amazing animal. They are found in the region of Amur and live in the same place as the Siberian (Amur) tiger.
